‘Hydraulics’ Album Artwork by Mariana Flores of Created Designs
My new album ‘Hydraulics’ just released today, so I wanted to write a little bit here on the blog for those who are interested! The new song “Well” was inspired by Ephesians 3:17-19, Psalm 78:4, John 4:14, and more. I also wrote it after having recently read a book that studied the Hebrew word “hesed.” Track 6, “Peace,” is another Rich Mullins cover co-produced with my friend Maelah! The last track, “Keys,” is an acoustic version of one of the very first songs that I wrote in high school. A few people from completely different areas of my life had asked for a version on Spotify, etc. recently, so I thought I would give it a go (there is still a Youtube video with the original version of the song if you scroll way back haha). It’s crazy how lessons learned years ago are still applicable for me today, in the best way. I’ll include the full credits and track list below!
There is a lot more I can say about how the title came to be and how it connects to the songs, etc. but I’m going to just keep this brief for now!
